TL;DR
Yes this is (sort of) a recruitment post, but it has a nice video I made, and it would mean a lot to me if you liked it.
The Story
I bought my first PS4 as a bundle with Destiny, at the time it was less about the game and more about that sexy looking Glacier White console (mm-mmm). After the Taken King DLC was released I put the game disc back into the PS4 and I’ve not been able to stop playing it since.
A lot of people criticised Destiny’s story for being, well, non-existent. Frankly, I’m on the same boat, but there is something addictive about the mechanics of the game that made grinding for gears an enjoyable process, thus I’ve stayed for so long.
However, I’m your average solo player, and that meant I can’t do around 50% of the end-game content which all require a custom fire team of 3 to 6 players.
So I decided to break out from my comfort zone to find myself a clan using Bungie.net’s highly user-unfriendly recruitment forum, which offers no tools on geolocation filtering and at the best of times – slow as a snail.
I kid you not, after about 4 days of random searches, I finally found one.
